Roma Singh is now pursuing a Ph.D degree at Tezpur (Central) University in India. She actively served as an instructor at Akhom Commerce College for three years before joining Tezpur University.
Her research is primarily centred around examining the Future of Work, with a particular emphasis on employee well-being and the Geography of Work. Specifically, she examines how the flexibility of workers affects productivity and work-life balance.
She also investigates the impact of remote work practices, such as "Work from anywhere" and "Remote for All," on increasing the sustainability of female participation in the labour market and also on the emerging tourist hotspots as a part of WFA culture.
She works as a reviewer for esteemed publishing houses such as Emerald, IGI Global, and Scopus-indexed journals.
She obtained her Master's degree in Marketing and Management from Gauhati University.
She has prior experience as a content writer for private clients and as a consultant to local businesses. She currently serves as a Director at Namoai Enterprises Private Limited.
